Highlights from the
Stanley Kramer Film Festival 2013


Palm Springs fest concludes the director's centennial year events

The 2013 The Stanley Kramer Film Festival screened six of the director/producer's 35 film: The Defiant Ones, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, The Wild One, It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, and Judgment at Nuremburg. The festival also featured a number of special events including an award ceremony spotlighting the first annual Stanley Kramer Awards for Lifetime Achievment - going to director Randal Kleiser, and Emerging Artist - going to director Del Shores.  An over the top pre-opening party, a birthday celebration complete with a giant birthday cake, and a private Tea with Karen and Kat Kramer for VIP's rounded out the event.

Film Fest Celebrates Connection to Director Stanley Kramer

"It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World" was filmed in Palm Desert area

Karen Kramer (on the motorcycle) and her daughter, Katharine "Kat" Kramer, help promote "The Wild One", one of the movies to screen during the Stanley Kramer Film Festival, Nov. 15-17, at Camelot Theatres in Palm Springs.
