The 2013 The Stanley Kramer Film Festival screened six of the director/producer's 35 film: The Defiant Ones, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, The Wild One, It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, and Judgment at Nuremburg. The festival also featured a number of special events including an award ceremony spotlighting the first annual Stanley Kramer Awards for Lifetime Achievment - going to director Randal Kleiser, and Emerging Artist - going to director Del Shores. An over the top pre-opening party, a birthday celebration complete with a giant birthday cake, and a private Tea with Karen and Kat Kramer for VIP's rounded out the event.

The Cinerama Dome in Hollywood was the setting for the 50th Anniversary Celebration of Stanley Kramer's classic comedy, It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World. Several of the original cast members were present including, Mickey Rooney, Marvin Kaplan and Barrie Chase. Stanley's widow Karen Sharpe Kramer and daughter Katharine "Kat" Kramer were also present along with Buddy Hacket's daughter, Lisa. The Q&A after the screening was moderated by Jeff Garlin.
